How It Works: Step by Step
01.
Explore and Choose Your Program
Begin by reviewing our online catalogue of available programs and workshops. Each listing includes:
Focus area and intended audience (parents, doulas, care providers)
Educator profile and available dates
Learning outcomes and time commitment
02.
Connect with Your Educator
After submitting your request, a Partum educator will reach out by email to confirm your:
Session date and time
Participant details
Learning objectives or focus areas
This personalized approach ensures that each class or workshop is tailored to your stage of learning and professional or personal goals.
03.
Receive Confirmation and Resources
Once your date is confirmed, your educator will send:
A confirmation email with your Google Meet link
Any digital materials or pre-class readings relevant to your session
Optional reflection prompts or journaling exercises to enhance learning
All materials are delivered electronically in PDF format and can be accessed on any device.
04.
Set Up for Your Session
Before your session begins:
Ensure your device has Google Meet access (no download required)
Use a stable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit environment
Have your materials (digital or printed) available for reference
Log in 5–10 minutes early to ensure your audio and video are functioning properly
If needed, your educator will provide brief technical support at the start of class.
05.
Join Your Live Session
Your live, interactive class will be conducted through Google Meet.
Each session combines:
Evidence-based teaching presented by a Partum Academy educator
Demonstrations or guided discussions depending on the topic
Reflection exercises to connect theory with personal or clinical practice
Real-time Q&A for applied learning and dialogue
All sessions are designed to balance professionalism with the warmth and empathy central to the Partum approach.
06.
Continue Learning After Class
Following your live session, you’ll receive a follow-up email containing:
Any additional resources referenced during the session
Optional readings or recommended practice exercises
A digital Certificate of Participation, where applicable
An invitation to future programs or advanced workshops
If you have questions after class, your educator remains available for limited post-session support via email.
